Cycling Granada

Cycling in Granada will make you discover the genuine Andalusia, long epic climbs. A lot of pro cyclists ride here.

First, because the famous training centre in Sierra Nevada is the choice of the best World Tour teams.

Second, because the climate is amazing all year round. Third because there are great climbs with perfect tarmac, quiet roads and stunning scenery mixing mountains and sea views. The climbs are challenging as the slopes are sometimes brutal, typically spanish. Climbs between 9 and +30km are common.

While riding the coast, expect to wear short bibs and short sleeves jerseys even on many winter days and not extreme temperatures in summer unlike big cities like Sevilla or Cordoba. The Granada coast is the best choice for cycling.
