About the Route

Start on a scenic journey from Hani i Hotit to Tamare, where you'll encounter a striking Cross made of white stones, guiding you towards the majestic highlands. The road winds through lush greenery and fields of Rapsha, leading to the breathtaking balcony overlooking Leqet e Hoti and mountains.
Situated at an elevation of 750 metres (2,460 feet) above sea level in Shkodër County, Albania, this pass offers breathtaking views of the northern landscape.

The Leqet e Hotit ascent starts at 234 metres above sea level and climbs to 743 metres at the top, covering a total of 509 ascending metres. Leqet e Hotit presents a challenging terrain, with a steep ascent including a maximum gradient of 12.7% and numerous switchbacks. The climb from Hani i Hotit covers 7.8 kilometres, with an average gradient of 7.7%, while the ascent from Grabom is 6.9 kilometres with an average gradient of 7.1%, reaching a maximum of 10.4%. However, the route from Tamare stands out for its unparalleled beauty, offering the most stunning views along the way.

At the summit, you'll be greeted by a breathtaking panorama of the towering mountains surrounding the area, with switchbacks winding their way through the landscape below.
