About the Route

Embark on an unforgettable journey starting from the stunning Lake Jasna near Kranjska Gora. This 110 km route features the legendary Vršič Pass, boasting 24 cobbled hairpin bends on the ascent to its peak at 1611m above sea level. Descend the other side through 26 hairpin bends, built by Russian prisoners of war between 1915-1917, offering an exhilarating ride on smooth tarmac.

Continue through Trenta Valley alongside the mesmerizing emerald waters of the Soca River. Opt for the challenging 25 km climb to Mangart Road in Log pod Mangartom, featuring an average gradient of 6% and reaching 10% in the final 10 km, offering breathtaking views of the Julian Alps.

Enjoy the speedy descent past Belopeska Lakes and through the valley road, passing the Ski Flying Hill Planica that inspired Primoz Roglic to pursue professional cycling.
